Patricia imagined and planned what her life would be like since she was six years old.
As the old nursery rhyme goes; first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage. Well, the first two parts of the plan came true, but the third part never happened.
It's not like she and her husband are not trying every time she is ovulating, but there seems to be a missing and she believes that her husband's little swimmers are not strong or fast enough for her and she is desperate. So desperate that she calls her best friend Tim. Patricia and Tim were best friends through high school.
Tim even attended Patricia and her husband's wedding right after they got out of high school. So it came as a shock that a year after Patricia got married, she would not only call him out of the blue but tell him her troubles.
