For Members of the Green River Community: A Course in understanding conflict and mediating disputes!
Do you want to learn more about resolving conflict collaboratively – and peacefully?
Or perhaps you want to become a community mediator?
Either way, in the Understanding and Resolving Conflict Workshop, you will learn basic skills and strategies relevant to workplace, family and personal relationships.
Expert, experienced, mediation trainer Marc Steiner (ex-University of New Mexico) leads this 40-hour, five day workshop (May 5-7 & 15-16)and is assisted by guest presenters including David Smith (US Institute of Peace, DC,
& George Mason University, VA).
In the experiential elements, including role plays, participants will be assisted by experienced mediation coaches including Marty Hawkins, David Davis, Pam Deacon-Joyner and Barry Bannister.
