The YWCA will be on campus to assist any female Veterans who have served or is a female family member of someone who has served in any branch of the U.S. Military.
The YWCA's Women and Veterans Minority Outreach program acts as a liaison with a number of agencies that serve Veterans, including the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs, the VA Medical Center, King County Veterans' Program and Compass Housing Alliance. Our YWCA Veteran Outreach Program also helps Veterans connect with appropriate YWCA programs that address their needs, including our Landlord Liaison Project and Project Self-Sufficiency.
Available resources include: financial assistance, medical, dental and mental health services, housing, job-training and placement, family support and counseling.
Eligibility: Individuals must live in King County, be at least 18 years old and have served in, or is a family member of someone who has served in any branch of the U.S. military.
